Grand Rapids Wedding Photographer :: Calvin College Wedding Pictures

This April I was in Grand Rapids Michigan doing the spring wedding photography for Leslie and Steve on a beautiful day at Calvin College and Noto’s Old World Italian Restaurant.
There is some really cool architecture at Calvin College but an even more beautiful outdoor landscaped pond and rocks. You better be careful, this is such a hot location to many photographers so you might have to wait in line 🙂
Luckily, we look to use the area a little differently than most photographers so that means we worked around the other things going on at that time!
In addition to the great architecture at Calvin, there’s some pretty neat and retro furniture that makes for great group locations. As you can see, both groups with Leslie & Steve made for great models and subjects in these places and every one of them was great to work with!
We took pictures outside of the Calvin College Seminary and at the beautiful Noto’s Wine Cellar.
We love the colors and decorations in Noto’s and I think it’s evident in these wedding pictures how gorgeous it is there! We’re often asked about our fantastic ring detail shots and this is the time when you’re dancing, getting ready, eating, or simply doing something else that’s a bit of down-time for us where we play with items specific to your wedding day, location, or family!
We always love closing shots in the Noto’s Wine Cellar. It’s such a romantic location and one of the most beautiful indoor reception places in Grand Rapids and West Michigan.
