It was great when Mike and Angela suggested we do their engagement shoot near the Journeyman Distillery in 3 Oaks Michigan since we planned their Lake Michigan and Sawyer wedding just a few months later! It was very cold but the only way you’d know it is with the wind blowing in her hair and they really came up with some great engagement pictures for their wedding!
We started upstairs in a cool little gem of a place at the Three Oaks wedding venue that will surely be converted into a reception facility.
The managers graciously let us take photos in the actual distillery and Michael proved his physical abilities in that challenging space!
For me there’s nothing like doing engagement pictures and wedding photos in St Joseph at Tiscornia Park and Beach. It was very early in the season with the ice freshly melted over Lake Michigan but we were still able to get some beautiful shots of these guys!And since we were out at the beach, why not take some shots for their business. Yup, these guys run a tight ship in Chicago training pro athletes and runners!
